By accessing or using the Ultimate Construction Conversion Matrix ("the Site"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What the Site is

The Site is a free, client-side unit-conversion tool for construction professionals. All calculations are performed locally in your browser. No account is required and no user data is collected, as described in our Privacy Policy.

2. Estimates only — not professional advice

Results produced by the Site are estimates for planning purposes. They rely on typical material densities and standard conversion factors, and they do not account for site-specific conditions such as moisture content, compaction effort, gradation, temperature effects on materials, or local code requirements. The Site is not a substitute for engineered calculations, certified scale tickets, or advice from a licensed engineer, surveyor or other qualified professional. You are solely responsible for verifying any quantity, dimension or load before acting on it.

3. Permitted use

You may use the Site for personal, educational and commercial planning purposes. You may not:

• attempt to disrupt, overload or interfere with the Site's operation;
• misrepresent the Site's outputs as certified or legally binding measurements;
• scrape, republish or resell the Site's content as your own without permission.

4. No warranty

The Site and its content are provided "as is" and "as available", without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including accuracy, completeness, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Site will be uninterrupted or error-free.

5. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, we shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential or special damages — including material over/under-orders, project delays, equipment overload, or financial loss — arising from use of, or inability to use, the Site, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

6. Advertising and third parties

The Site may display third-party advertising. We do not endorse and are not responsible for the content, products or services advertised by third parties. Your interactions with advertisers are solely between you and them.

7. Intellectual property

The Site's design, text, and code are the property of the Construction Conversion Matrix or its licensors, protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.

8. Changes

We may modify these Terms or discontinue any part of the Site at any time. Continued use after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in the jurisdiction of the Site operator, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
