Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy explains what happens when you use the Ultimate Construction Conversion Matrix ("the Site", "we", "us"). The short version: your calculations never leave your device.

1. Information we do not collect

The Site has no accounts, no servers that process your inputs, and no database. Every conversion you perform is calculated locally in your browser using JavaScript. Values you type — tonnages, dimensions, pressures — are not uploaded, transmitted, logged or stored on any server. Closing the tab discards them.

2. Local storage we do use

To make the tool nicer to use, the Site writes two small preference flags to your browser's localStorage. This data stays on your device and is never sent to us:

• ccm-theme — your day/night mode choice.
• ccm-cookie-ok — the fact that you dismissed the cookie-consent bar.

You can clear either of these at any time via your browser's "Clear browsing data" option; the Site will simply fall back to defaults.

3. Cookies

The Site itself does not set tracking cookies. However, if advertising is displayed on the Site, third-party advertising vendors may use cookies or similar technologies, as described next.

4. Advertising and third-party cookies (Google AdSense)

We may display advertisements served by third-party networks, including Google AdSense. When ads are served:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this and other websites.
• Google's use of advertising cookies (such as the DoubleClick cookie) enables it and its partners to serve personalized ads.
• You may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Google Ads Settings, or opt out of some third-party vendors' cookies via the Network Advertising Initiative's opt-out page.
• Google's own privacy practices are described in Google's Privacy Policy.

Where required by applicable law (for example the EU's GDPR), we will obtain your consent before advertising cookies are set, in line with Google's consent requirements.

5. Analytics

If we add analytics in the future, we will use a privacy-respecting, aggregate-only solution and update this policy accordingly. We do not currently collect analytics on individual visitors.

6. Children's privacy

The Site is a professional tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect any information from children.

7. External links

The Site may link to external websites (for example, vendor documentation). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those sites and encourage you to read their policies.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the latest revision. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
